Everyone Wins With PS5 And Xbox Series X

The PS5 and Xbox Series X are almost here, and the Switch is doing great--it's a phenomenal time for games, and that's exciting.

Everyone wins with ps5 and xbox sx but with switch there's zero next gen features about it all the popular online titles won't be in it its horrid online etc.

The sole purpose of switch now is if you like handheld games and or core Nintendo exclusives

Nintendo definitely needs to catch up. The switch is great for what it is...but it’s going to start showing it’s age when next gen ramps up.

nothing wrong with the Nintendo exclusives though, so it's a valid reason to own it. PC/PS5/Switch for me. And then when the Switch successor comes along I will pick that up.

Why not go and look at a negative article about Sony, for example the one about Demon's Souls not using ray-tracing and see how many gloating Xbox fans there are commenting.

God knows what they're doing there because it's got nothing to do with them.

This, this is the combination I own, I don't see a reason to add Xbox to the mix at the moment, but the Switch has enough exclusives to make it worth owning and it can be used port-ably as well.

Yet I’ll be rocking a ps5 and switch there’s more revolution in Nintendo’s little console than Microsoft’s all powerful X series for me. No new controller no new games just same old same old subscriptions and little first party content for at least another year (the last 8-10 years/end of 360 entire current gen haven’t been enough time to realise it’s all about the games) they don’t even have VR or anything that’s new that sells me their console the resume feature looks brilliant other than that proper poor so far if wanted to play old games I’d get my 360 out the box sure it’ll look nicer on the latest console but I don’t spend £450+ on a new console to play last gen games with obviously slightly better speeds graphics etc. I buy it because they offering something new Dual sense haptics 3D audio top exclusives, might even try VR when they bring 2.0 in year or 3 much more exciting for me than waiting for another halo/forza... no doubt a gears. What would excite me Banjo3, new perfect Dark, blast Corps 2, new protect Gotham racing Dishonored 3 when these start getting announced I’ll be interested. Only bought Xbox one S for rare replay no going next gen again to play last gen (crackdown 😏🤷🏻‍♂️ 😂) or older, but hey that’s just me and likely another 100 million consoles sold 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

That was a lot of words to say that your are clueless. So you are saying Microsoft did not show a single new game that will be coming to it's platforms? But let's move beyond that, because you say same old games, but then a couple lines later you talk about being excited if they announced updates to some old games. Halo is looking like a crackdown oh and there’s another forza didn’t buy the console for those last gen so safe to say they’ll need a bit more it’s just the same old same old on Xbox some people love that tho 🤷🏻‍♂️ Each to their own not for me. Would I take a new project gotham what 5 or 6 over the 10th forza or a new 3rd perfect dark over a 6th gears of war yeah I sure would.

I think it would be awesome to see Nintendo do a proper console again. Can you imagine if they had something on par with PS5 or Series X hardware wise? I know that is a complete pipe dream and will never happen, but if they had something on par with PS5 and Series X and started making their first party games look like some of the fan remakes we have seen floating around the internet using UE4 (Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 fan remakes) they would definitely sell a ton (not that they don't now). If they made a Zelda game that catered towards a more mature audience that was a bit darker, that would also be pretty badass.

Xcloud is awful without a 5 ghz or wired connection. Not a chance of being preferred over the Switch for handheld play.

Analysts had predicted that the Switch will outsell every other consoles this holiday, even the next gen ones.

Even if that does not happen, I don’t think Nintendo has anything to worry about. Their handheld console has always sold well.

Nintendo has literally nothing to fear from Xcloud or whatever MS will do.
Plus, there are games that won't be found on Xcloud (if you don't like them it's another story that has nothing to do with an objective vision).

Sitdown - I believe the audience for xbox wither has a PC, is looking to buy a PC or will buy an xsx. Now if they have a PC - they're more likely to buy a PS5.

The other side of it - Nintendo gamers generally stick to their own products, same with PlayStation gamers.

Of course there is always exceptions, but I think Sony and Nintendo will both outsell and increase the sales gap on the xbox family of consoles.

Theres always been only a handful of generation exclusives for the first couple of years. Won't be any different here. I'm excited about the SSD tech but not enough to camp out at a store. I'll wait until I can comfortably order one online.
