PlayStation 5 Is Big But Certainly Not Awkward

PlayStation 5 may be the largest console ever made but it's far less awkward to work with than Xbox or Xbox One and only a little more voluminous than both.

I guess I’ll have to sit mine on the floor instead of the stand otherwise it will sit too high and interfere with my TV.

Don’t really like the horizontal position. PS5 looks like it’s made to sit vertically especially the digital edition.

Its a lovely looking system plenty of room for it in my AV setup. Fed up with some complaining its to big. If it had a smaller form factor. It would end being noisey and then getting abuse about that. Unfortunately more power means more heat, bigger spec.

Whereas I think the XSX doesn't look as good in real life.

really? Agree to disagree. I'm getting the PS5 but I appreciate the form factor of the Series X way more. It might be a simple box, but there's an inherent beauty about it's simplistic design. Plus it fits with the aesthetic of most home theatre setups. The PS5 is just different in many ways.

To my down vote I can show pictures of nicer shoe boxes . Xbox is literally a box. In the end it doesn’t matter if you like the way it looks or not it’s the games(that’s why I’m getting PS5) but we are talking about style here and Xbox literally has less style than many of my shoe boxes . I can see people not liking the PS5 but they tried for style at least (I like it personally it’s not perfect)

@jznrpg - your shoe boxes are made of cardboard. Just because they are colorful doesn't make them more stylish. The Series X is simple and sleek. Agree to disagree I guess.

I haven’t heard anything from Sony but Xbox said it’s going to be months before they catch up. Probably the same for ps5. If you are on a website like this you have a better chance of snagging one before most just by being a “hobbyist”. Don’t worry about it, make it happen. Most people don’t want them like we do, it’s an advantage.
