Killer month, especially for PS5 fans. I'm sure if you just own a PS4, then you can put Bugsnax into your library, so when you eventually do get a PS5, that game will be there for you waiting. Bugsnax will be free until January

You might not be able to do it from the PS4 because it might not be able to see or interact with PS5 content, but you can definitely do it from the web store.

You have to link your consoles therefore I doubt you will be able to download if you don’t have a PS5.

You can see in the video for the new app it shows what consoles have been linked to your account.

You never had to link a console to put your PS Plus games in Library.
I am almost certain that all who have a PSN with PS+ can put Bugsnax in Library from webstore.

That’s what many of my friends did with PS4 library before they actually got the Ps4 or Vita.

Likewise. Used the app to add free PS4 games to my library before I had a PS4. Also got me a substantial library of PS+ Vita games despite never owning a Vita. Ditto PSVR. Hopefully nu-app works the same. Would suck if it didn’t.

Has it been said if there is a time limit on the games in the Playstation Plus Collection? Do they go away at some point in the future? Or are titles simply rotated out? I am good regardless, as I have a pre-order and plus until about 2022 at least...but would be interested in these details.

Says on the store. Once you redeem each game from the collection they are added to your account and yours to keep providing your a active PS+ member.

Thanks, but I was wondering if you have until a certain date to redeem then by, like his your have until the end of the month to get ps+ titles. For individuals who didn't secure a ps5, will they still have access once they final get one, or can they still lock in through the website, app, or ps4?

It doesn't specifiy, I would try using the online store around launch and see if you can do it there, as I'm pretty sure you'll be locked out of PS5 content on the PS4, as the PS5 will not allow content it can't run to be downloaded on there (PS3).

The web store is usually significantly more lenient when it comes to these things.

Basically it's the same rules as normal PS Plus games. It just seems you can only redeem them from ps5. They als seem to be games that are assured to see performance improvements somewhere apparently.

But essentially when you get your PS5, Add all the games to your library immediately. Seems they'll be rotated in and out eventually so it's best to just add them all to your library so you'll always have em all

If you are talking about 2 of the 23 games, Shadow of War and Hollow Knight, they actually been on PSNow aswell even before Gamepass.
Don’t compare PSPlus with Gamepass, PSPlus is like Games with Gold.
If you compare Gamepass it should be with PSNow. That means, compare the 250 games with around 700 games.

Did not expect 2 great games. Hollow Knight is a game of the generation contender for me.
Havent played Shadow of War yet so nice to see I'll have a chance to do that.

Love how theyre adding an additional game for ps5 only.

With that big list of PS PLUS collection of games, thats a very fast way to fill up the limited PS5 SSD hard drive.

I think mine will be filled up day one with so many good games to play that i never got aroud to playing on ps4.

That's why having a 1TB/2TB external HDD to store these (and play from) PS4 titles on PS5. So they don't use the internal SSD.

All HD/SSDs get filled up eventually. We can always put the games in the library, and download them after the games that are downloaded are finished. Simple fix to a simple problem.

Also the fact that these SSD's are much faster it allows the games to download a lot faster so we are no longer limited by the write speeds of a slow HDD.

Sure, Demon’s Souls and Miles Morales. Those games are going to be fantastic and after all the coverage of Astrobot Playroom I’m really hyped to try the DualSense controller.

I guess you just miss out on the the news stories I praise things about. I’m not a fanboy though, I just add comments to stories I feel like I have something to comment about... if that makes sense.

I have a question, the playstation plus offering for the ps5 of God if War, Monster Hunter, Batman etc 18 games i think for those who upgrade to ps5 at launch..... how long does that offer go for? What i mean is, it would be a little unfair if it was only for the 1st month as many who wanted to purchase a ps5 at launch, who couldn't due to shortages of the console ( like myself who's console has been pre ordered since day 1 but coming in supposedly the 1st shipment in 2021).
Am I or are we still able to access those games?
If there was a 6 month or year even buffer to download those games it would be a smart move pushing sales for Sony & yes, ultimately satisfying me at the same time .

Does anyone know how long this offer goes for?

They will always be available to PS Plus subscribers. So you don't have to worry about those games 'going away'. BUT REMEMBER, you can log into the PS store and add all those games to your library. That way, they will always be yours to play as long as you have a PS Plus sub. I would do the latter, jsut to make sure you have all of them in your library

Wow I owned almost every game for PS Plus collection but never finished most of them but because they are on the ps plus collection I think each one will have PS5 boost capabilities which excites me to finally able to finish them with smoother gameplay, insane super fast loading with PS5. It's nice they added BF1, BF5 was so horrible.. atleast BF1 will get some love from PS5 players until the next Battlefield tittle releases.
