Dave writes: "The Halloween glut of games keeps on glutting, with the release of Clea, out now on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, joining a previous drop on PC via Steam."
Clea’s approach to survival horror is unique thanks to its fantastic art, cute protagonist, and skill-based over jump-scare filled gameplay, but its structure and progression feel more like a test of patience and choreography rather than any meaningful experience where you’d have any fun.
Clea is a jump scare free, skill-based survival horror adventure from InvertMouse out now for PC. Those closest to you may be the real terror.
Alana Dunitz of GameGrin reviews Clea, writing: "Clea is the super creepy story of a mysterious girl who looks like a possessed doll and her little brother trying to escape their home, Whitlock Mansion. Why are they trying to escape you may ask? Well it’s a long story, involving their scientist parents conducting experiments that have gone horribly wrong. These people have been turned into what is called Chaos Servants and they will do whatever they can to ensure that you will not escape the house. The thing that really made me want to check this game out is it promises that it is a jump-scare free horror game. I absolutely hate jump scares, so I was a bit skeptical about this claim."
