I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Mathieu Cote - Game Director on Dead by Daylight and Product Evangelist at Behaviour Interactive - to talk all about all things Dead by Daylight. Aside from talking about the game’s upcoming next-gen update known as Realm Beyond, we also talk about the incredible success of the Silent Hill Chapter, and how much it meant to the team to bring this license into Dead by Daylight:
“[Silent Hill] was a license that was dormant. It had made its way into the dark recesses of our souls, in the nightmares that live in the past and therefore anything we did wasn’t only weighted against what was but also about what everyone has dreamed about since then.”
After several rumors emerged from the fog, it’s confirmed that the new Dead By Daylight killer is a not-so-familiar face from Tokyo Ghoul.
The Dead by Daylight team announces several roadmap updates and previews a lineup of gameplay changes, quality of life updates, and general game health improvements to come.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.
