Nine Sols looks nice, and also a bit similar in style to Bo, Path of the Teal Lotus, which should also be a good game (picked it up a few weeks ago but haven't played it myself yet ... )
Say what you will about the genre, Gestalt: Steam and Cinder is an excellent pixelated ‘search action adventure’ game set in a fantasy world very much worth exploring.
