I do recall several persons posting that 3rd parties would not avail themselves of the unique features of the PS5. But as was remarked by several of us Sony inevitably made implementation a breeze. As Price would say, "Welcome to next gen lads."

porkChop1279d ago (Edited 1279d ago )

Of course some devs will use it. Every feature gets used to some extent. But how widespread will it be used? Hopefully a lot of devs support each consoles features, but history shows that most devs opt to not bother with extra features. This gen could certainly be different though. There's a lot of potential for immersion with these triggers, so I'd like most games to take advantage.

Diver1279d ago

yeah lotsa devs just gonna see the ease that sony gave em and know its such a big market that theyre going to put these features in

Me personally I always turn vibration off on my controllers both on Xbox and PlayStation.

My mind will not allow me to use any precious battery life on that sort of feature.

I would also dim the light on the PlayStation controller just to maybe squeeze out that extra bit of juice per charge.

That’s just me though. Neat feature though for those who do use it.

Ha Ha how does turning vibration off on my controllers and dimming the PS4 light to make sure my power lasts longer per charge get down voted? That’s too funny.

In fact how does me saying it’s a neat feature for those that use vibration and haptic feedback get down voted as well? This site is hilarious. I didn’t say anything negative at all.

MarcoGT1279d ago

I do the same. It just seems like such a waste of battery then before you know it you're charging again.
But I'll be interested to see how this haptic works, might even be worth keeping it on.

“Ha Ha how does turning vibration off on my controllers and dimming the PS4 light to make sure my power lasts longer per charge get down voted? That’s too funny.”

You could also just leave the console off to save electricity.

Joking of course. Reason for the disagrees is that people like to keep there’s on and not worry so much about battery life. No big deal.

Another great month imo. The COD campaign on this one was great fun. I've never played Alan Wake, so a PS5 version of that is a perfect way to prepare for the next one...

taurul296d ago

You're in for a treat with Alan Wake. It still holds after so many years.
For me it's the best psychological thriller I've ever played that is not Silent Hill.
Alan Wake 2 is my most wished sequel of all time, waiting for it since 2010...

bloop295d ago (Edited 295d ago )

Sweet!! I never got around to playing it on the 360 but always wanted to. Looking forward to next month!!

Crows90295d ago

Agreed. You see I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't bought remedy...of all the studios in their list....I'd assume remedy would be an obvious based on real actual relationships.

I liked Alan Wake and am super excited for Alan Wake 2. Hopefully turns out great ..I've actually liked ALL of their games including quantum break...except for the TV show part.

I've never bought a CoD game, but now due to PS+, I 'rent' like 8 of them or so. I played one a few times with my nephews. Still not my cup of tea. But, it's interesting to see how many CoD games PS+ can throw at me.

LG_Fox_Brazil296d ago

Pretty damn good, I almost bought Alan Wake last month, glad I held my wallet

REDGUM296d ago

I picked up my copy of it 2nd hand just last Saturday. agghhh. If only I had waited just a little more longer.

Knushwood Butt296d ago

Me too, it's been on my wishlist for months. Glad I held out!

Elda296d ago

A pass for me due to playing Cold War & Alan Wake already.

phoenixwing296d ago

Glad I didn't buy cold war or Alan wake. Now I can enjoy them for the stories

Kassanova07296d ago

I was curious about both. Great timing!
