I think I read somewhere that you can activate "load screens" for the PS5 version of the game

PS5 has 16bit nostalgia with no load screens..
I still remember first time I saw loading screen on Saturn Sega Really.. I thought the game had a glitch and won't start 🤣

God. I had the tape deck. Sometimes a game would load for 10 minutes and then fail. I swear it works better when we left the room and didn't bother it. If you poked your head in early it would crash. Once I got the floppy Fisk drive it was a godsend.

Won't really be all that crazy if it's just as instantaneous on the PS4.

Impressive of course, but I continue to be a bit underwhelmed by the fact the 'near-instant loading times' appears to be the new consoles' biggest draw. I mean, great and everything, but come on...

As I understand it, it's not just load screens it benefits but assets loading much faster in game which is something significant. The R&C rapid loading of new worlds is a good example.

Think I’ll pick this up in a sale , does not seem with full retail price . Don’t know why but it’s just not gripping me . Seems more like a dlc. Plus there are already a few must buy games for me in November anywhere .

Not sure that's loading screen material or just larger open world. If they design hideouts to be a part of the open world, then there's no need to load into a new area.
