CCG writes - "In the not so distant future, Los Angeles is overrun with zombies. Unaware of the situation, your band performs a heavy metal concert only to find that the entire audience is undead. In a panic, they flee in their getaway car but are being chased by all sorts of creatures."
"September's 2022 Games with Gold lineup includes the Xbox One titles Gods Will Fall and Double Kick Heroes, and through backwards compatibility, the Xbox 360 titles Thrillville and Portal 2. February's lineup provides over $66.96 dollars in value and up to 3000 in gamerscore."
Not a bad month. Thrillville and Portal 2 are fun and Double Kick Heroes looks like a blast.
Considering how expensive portal 2 still is in the store, and how rare the physical copies are these days, I'd say that's a good addition. It's also upgraded to 4K on the X consoles.
Don't know much about the other ones, but it looks like a better month than usual. Which probably says more about how bad it usually is.
"Headbang Club and Hound Picked Games are today very pleased and happy to announce that pre-orders for "Double Kick Heroes" physical Nintendo Switch edition and triple vinyl OST are now available." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "The idea behind Double Kick Heroes is absolutely amazing, and its soundtrack is oh so great. I really wanted to love it, considering how much I love most rock-centered rhythm games, but this game is a mess when you play in harder difficulties. It’s an eyesore and a nightmare for your fingers. It just doesn’t work as well as it should on a controller, reminding me of how annoying Guitar Hero was on a Dualshock back in 2005. If you decide to play Double Kick Heroes on lower difficulties, you won’t be presented with any semblance of a challenge, but at least you’ll be able to enjoy a pretty funny game with a phenomenal selection of metal bangers."
I need to try this one!
