Sony has updated the PlayStation website adding new features like a library for purchased games for PS4/PS5. This also includes a set of new avatars.

Technically it looks incredible but I’m a bit disappointed that it’s turned into a franchise about heists. I miss the more carried mission structure. I miss having just one playable character too.

It's not just for them, Avatars show on PS3 and Vita as well. Imo useless on PS4-5.
I want the ability to use my own avatar Microsoft allows it maybe I want to use REM from Re Zero or Zero Two from Darling in the Franxx or even Optimus Prime over say Nathan Drake, a Helgast or even Aloy. I like the ability to use my own wallpaper it might not be dynamic but I like it so why not apply it to the avatar yeah someone might wreck it by showing a dick pic or something racist but let them get in shit I want to use my own avatar.
