From memorable boss fights to chilling lore revelations, here's why Lords of Shadow 2 may be the most underrated Castlevania game.
Well i enjoyed my time with it and thats all that matters too me, i could not care less what others thought. Please bring 3 out Konami or at least a 1 and 2 remasters.
Same here. I own it on PS3 and PC and love the title. The soundtrack is amazing and the tone they paint for the character of Dracula with Robert Carlyle's great voice work is perfect.
Same here, I’m a huge castlevania fan, have all of the games. Even the remake that was made on the Wii. And I have the PS3 and PC versions of both games as well.
They look really cleaned up on the xbo through bc. The LoS games are some of my favorites.
Have been playing 1 and 2 on PS now and it's definitely better than i remember
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness is way more underrated than this one
it was ok. but the hide and seek BS was some of the dumbest stuff in the world.
great game. have it playable on my xbox one thru BC.
I remember the intro being fun an action packed. Then the game became "OK" with a lame hub system and sneaking around as a rat. The modern time frame levels weren't the great either. Lord of Shadows 1 was much better and I wish they had continued with that formula.
I played for a little bit on ps3 and put it down almost immediately I would like to return to it to give it a 2nd chance. I do own it.
Actually LOS2 is one of my favorite title of the last gen era. Complete it on 360, ps3 and twice on PC. I think the title is one those title that the press decided to hate before releasing the actual game just like Day's Gone. I remember how all reviewer bash the stealth portion puzzle like it was 50% of the game when it was barely 5%. Would love to see a part 3.
The PS2 Castlevanias are much more underrated imo.
Pfffff I'm still waiting on a proper full on 3d castle Castlevania since 3d gaming has been a thing. I mean really Konami ?!?! is it so hard to ask for even where we are tech wise. Lament of innocence I thought was a good start but nothing really came into fruition since .... such a shame and waste of potential .
Played and beat both, thought the first one was better. Looking to replay both someday, I hope they make a 3rd.
I enjoyed it even though it was repetitive as hell
But the stealth sections eww
I played this recently, although is not the best game out there, it was pretty decent. Compare to the first one though, it just doesn't match, there were a lot of cut corners and content and it shows in the lackluster story.
Loved the first one, never played the second one - Konami never released it in Japan.
Damn right it is.
I loved the story of this game. It’s definitely one of my favorite Castelvania’s. I’d love a 3rd game in the series.
