When you put everything RIDE 4 has to offer together; great physics, stunning lighting, an excellent selection of tracks, a huge number and variety of bikes, excellent graphics, sound and visuals, and yes, at times even in single-player, great on-track racing, the experience the game delivers is outstanding.
Digital Foundry : Is this truly "4 real" as the tagline says? Last week, a video of motorbiking sim Ride 4 went viral - with many millions of Twitter and YouTube views on an upload by YouTuber Joy of Gaming. On the face of it, it's easy to see why, when you consider the beautiful, dynamic, near photo-realistic footage playing out in first-person 'helmet' view. Based on Unreal Engine 4, the combination of the camera, physics, motion blur, lighting and materials all impress - but to what extent does it push back the boundaries or rendering technology. Does the game live up to the hype, or have we seen it all before with DriveClub Bikes?
the only reason this game got any attention was because of Joy Of Gaming's first person replay video
The developers of the PS5 motorcycle racing that became a viral sensation for being freaky realistic are happy for the recognition – but they aren't done yet.
Sales increase because of that one video and articles about it. Only if other games can get a spotlight like that.
totally sick. i wonder if they'll also support the PSVR2 when it's available, cause this would be perfect for it.
If you've been looking for a game to show off the graphical power of the PS5, Ride 4 looks amazing.
From that screencap not so much. TLOU2 looks more realistic. So does Watch Dogs Legion.
Looks great! It is also coming to Series S/X though. The new Gen update drops January 21st.
