Xbox Claims All It'll Take To Get Master Chief Into Super Smash Bros. Is An Invite

When asked when Master Chief might join the Smash roster, Xbox replied that the Spartan is yet to receive an invite.

They had snake on there who has more tie to Sony, they have ryu in it. They having all these guest characters coming in from different games. Why not come together and put some old character that havent been see in so long. Cause there plenty of characters that fits in smash like raymon and still havent been shown in the game.

Ryu too has been in many SF's on Nintendo systems.

Still think the charm of Smash for me was always the characters having ties to Nintendo. Just like I had a lot of fun playing PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale. It wasn't a perfect fighting game, but having the PS characters duke it out was a lot of fun and had it's charm.

Off-topic though, I would love to see Kratos invited to the Mortal Kombat series. I think that would be an awesome addition/cross-over to that series.

Also, Halo has 0 ties with Nintendo.

In my opinion, Ori or a Killer Instinct character like Spinal would be a better fit for Smash bros.

I would've rather had Master Chief than Steve from Minecraft if I have to be honest. But what's done is done. I doubt we will get another Microsoft rep. this fighter pass.and that also includes Doom Slayer.
I'm actually glad that Nintendo and Microsoft have a healty relationship as competitors. For instance the last Ori game will be on the Switch even though it's a Microsoft exclusive(and pc which is the same). That already says a lot.
