These cards are so massive. I'm glad ASUS was the only company to really examine the capacitor issue and go above and beyond. Makes me feel good knowing I have a 3080 Strix on order.

Yeah I just heard about that recently. Feel bad for first adopters of other brands of 3080.

Of course I'm still rocking my 2070 super so it's not like I'm too concerned myself lol

Even though I wanted the 3090 I went with the 3080 due to the price.

Yeah i really want to game in 4k at 120 but did not see evidence that the 3090 was going to get me drastically closer than the 3080. I would have been willing to pay for it but that price cant justify

Sorry for the noob question (I'm a complete rookie at pc gaming), what is that thing we see at 1:40, in the square with the four branches that come off from its corners? It looks like a chip on which you'd have to apply thermal paste like I did to one of my previous pc back then to reconnect it to its heat sink (think it's called), but I don't see why and to stick it onto what...
