1. Because it's just a update to the Fire Tv Game Controller, that already feature that style.
2. Because Luna run on Windows and the XInput controllers are by far the most supported across the board.

Looks more like the Switch Pro controller imo.

You don't realize the Switch controller is also just like the Xbox controller? wtf

Vanfernal1667d ago

You don't realize there's such thing as ergonomics. The overall shape of the control, the way the hand grips are rounded, the shape of the shoulder buttons etc are almost identical to the Switch Pro controller. You are just talking about the overall button layout.

luna's logo looks like proton's for vpn usage

Looks better then the Stadia controller when compared the Stadia controller just looks generic and the thumbstick placement is comfortable like the thumb stick placement on the Switch Pro and XB1 controller.

I've never been able to adjust to a controller that doesn't have symmetrical analog sticks . I just don't see how people like having their left thumb always that high up on the controller . I think it's also a big reason I've stuck with PS for over 20 years ... hate to say it even with it's great vast collection of games the controller has always been a big factor why I've stuck with sony . Most modern controllers usually copy the xbox design which I don't get ??!!! ,,,, and none of them seem to have a decent D-pad .... like bro ?!?!

Xbox players have asymmetrical hands. That's the only logical reason for someone preferring an asymmetrical controller.

I started gaming with the PS1. Continued with the PS2. I then bought a 360 first before buying a PS3 down the line. Trust me, it's incredibly easy to use and honestly did not feel odd at all.

I know it’s fun to pick on Microsoft around here-but really?

Sony’s better because of symmetrical sticks?
Symmetrical and asymmetrical like xbox or Nintendo, or literally anyone else-hasn’t been an issue to me or anyone I know.

Miraak82 1667d ago

I didn't say anything about sony being better because of the symmetrical sticks that's just putting words in my mouth . I merely stated it's a personal preference that I have . I just have never been fond of the xb design and since it's the design everyone seems to copy , it's kind of a hard sell to someone like me when companies like google or amazon release these generically copied controller design that I never liked anyway. Not that I was ever interested in a Steambox or anything but at least they tried to do something different with their controller which at least had me alittle intrigued . Still gotta hand it to Sony for switching it up after all this time , everything else just starting to feel like your generic gameboxes with generic controllers , it also tells me noone is actually trying to innovate even if it's in minor ways anymore . Also I'm still sticking to my D-pad arguement lol

Speaking as someone who uses xcloud, i havent really noticed much lag, if at all. I have used the service on a wide variety of devices. A VCR XBO, a One X, the logitech GCloud, steamdeck and my work PC. in all cases it just works and works really well. I was not interested at first in the idea of streaming a game, but then i really started using it as a way to gauge interest if a game is worth my time of downloading/installing and I just cant help but jump into new titles when they drop. I used to do the same with new releases on netflix so i can see why they make that similar proclimation.
