It's cool for the sake of preservation. But the MGS PC ports in particular were pretty rough and while looks like GOG managed to make they run on a modern system. They did not managed to fix all the issues: "Most of the popular PC controllers are supported (with the exception of PS4 one), however, trigger buttons are not possible to bind for XBOX 360 and XBOX One controllers."

That said. Running the game through Steam controllers mapping software should at least fix the Xbox binding issues.

Really, PC needs the MGS Collection by Bluepoint. The best current versions of MGS2 and MGS3

MGS 1-2-3 completely remade by bluepoint now that's something that would be amazing

P_Bomb1721d ago (Edited 1721d ago )

I’d go back even further and give the MSX/NES era the Bluepoint makeover. “I feel asleep” in 4K/60!

Pretentious1722d ago

Bluepoint knows how to do remasters! Can't wait for Demon Souls

neutralgamer19921721d ago

Yes they are really great at remasters but DS is a remake just like SOTC was a remake

Pretentious1721d ago

Bluepoint keeps the game so close to the original that remake is a strong word to use. It's somewhere between a remaster and a remake.

Konami is crap. What is Sony Waiting... Even worse. If microsoft got half a brain they would have got all theirs I.p.

AnotherGamer1722d ago

No MGS3 yet? Keep in mind that the MSG3 Subsistence had both MG1 and MG Solid Snake 2 in it. Kinda weird they selling MG separately hmmm...

DarXyde1721d ago

No, it isn't.

Sounds exactly like something Konami might do.

I remember that I played Mgs 1 on a pc once.

That's great, Oblivion Remastered already on sale! Think I'll jump in.

I feel like Lunar Remastered should have been included on this one too though.
