Fahrenheit 15th Anniversary Edition Getting Physical PS4 Release In Late 2020

From PSU: "Fahrenheit: 15th Anniversary Edition is getting a physical launch for the PS4 later this year, Quantic Dream and Meridiem Games have announced. If you live in the US, then you’ll probably know the game better as Indigo Prophecy."

For those who haven’t played this QD title, it’s really good. It uses camera effects in a really brilliant way. It’s still a choose your own adventure like their other games but it has such a great start. I also think cgi David Cage walking you through the tutorial is a laugh.

Agreed, probably my fave QD game. Story gets really random but worth the ride.

Agreed, I always felt like the first half and second half are different games.

I'd never heard of this game, or even Quantic Dream, back when I had a PS2. I bloody loved Heavy Rain on PS3, so I was intrigued to try Faranheit when they released it on PS4. I wasn't too impressed with it. Started with a lot of potential but the story just got...weird. With that said it was great to see how far the studio has progressed since. Beyond: Two Souls was another iffy game for me, but Detroit is where it's at. I'm really looking forward to seeing what QD bring to the table with PS5.

it was pretty deep for an xbox game.

East76lands1307d ago

One of my favourite games of the PS2 era.

SullysCigar1307d ago

Same, loved it back in the day.

Fishy Fingers1307d ago

If not then break out the pitchforks!

darthv721307d ago

Always been on my list to actually play I brought the mobile version but the controls were just infuriating and playing it on the go was a mood kill. Bring Australian the game was near impossible to buy back in the PS2 era retailers didn't stick it I think it was banned possibly

Well this kinda diminishes the value of the limited run games version a bit no? Oh well.

They're getting a bit crazy with these rereleases lol. Ive already bought this on PC back in the day, PC remastered, PS2, android, PS4 digital, and PS4 physical (collectors set from limited run games). This is getting absurd tbh

iwin861206d ago

No disrespect but you're part of the "problem".

Amplitude1205d ago (Edited 1205d ago )

yeah i mean youre not wrong

That collector mentality always gets me

CrimsonWing691206d ago (Edited 1206d ago )

So, wait, this is different than the one released on PS4?

Or is the same game but just different packaging to commemorate the 15th anniversary?

Mulando1205d ago

Ah... well, it was a good game in the first part of the Story, but in the end the story just doesn't make any sense and is really bad. I don't think that game should be remastered without a whole rework of the second half of the game (or the last quarter).
