Didn't Cerny say with optimised compression the IO throughput could reach 22gb. Per second? This is the realisation of that. The SSD is only half the story.
This tech is just Double the amount of something that already Was high. They Just supercharged the crazy fast i/o of the ps5.
Oodle Kraken and Oodle texture isn't proprietary to Sony. It can be used on any console/pc. On the Rad website they say most major publishers already have licenses to their technologies so Sony including a license is redundant.
