Star Citizen developer Cloud Imperium Games released a new video focusing on upcoming content for the growing space simulator.
More info on how to spend more money on a beta. Yawn
Someone needs to put a stop to these con artist. This is the biggest scam in gaming.
the ELUA on this is very old. https://robertsspaceindustr... before you pay anything upfront it says - "PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (“EULA”) CAREFULLY." "IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS EULA, CLICK ON THE BUTTON THAT INDICATES THAT YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS EULA. YOU MUST ACCEPT THIS EULA IN ORDER TO DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE AND ACCESS THE GAME (AS DEFINED BELOW)." "C. Pre-Releases (Alpha/Beta Testing) You specifically acknowledge and agree that you understand the nature of such Alpha or Beta testing, (i.e. that you may experience bugs, crashes, and the like, or that the Pre-Release Games may be changed or redesigned subsequently). Nothing contained in the foregoing shall be considered a breach by RSI of any of the RSI Terms or a failure of RSI to deliver the Game." so backers already knew many, many years ago what they were supporting. and continue to support.
"Someone needs to put a stop to these con artist. This is the biggest scam in gaming." very little can be done if backers want to keep supporting it. they have the option from the very beginning not download it and pocket their backings. if they are either unsure or unsatisfied.
@TheScotsman Dude, please, stop spreading lies! It's not a beta, ffs! It's still an alpha... With first «release» in 2013-08-30, more than seven years ago.
Sorry, I forgot, makes it even worse ffs , thanks for reminding me, what a con it is
Beta? Beta is when the game is ready to launch. Alpha is while the game is being made. This game is barely out of concept.
$314 million for a video of a cargo bay I doubt the cargo bay on the Enterprise D cost that much to build and shoot.
I hope the people who back this project are getting their money's worth. The actual fps shooter gameplay looked clunky as hell so I never bought in or thought of doing it.
Never bought into the EA myself either, I am interested in Squadron 42 though and hope it's worth the wait whenever it should actually get released.
I bought this game for £30 many years ago. Gave up waiting for a finished product long ago. Money in the bin really. I get they want to make something amazing etc but this situation has gone beyond ridiculous.
Come on guys this should be criminal.
These guys are pulling a bigger scam than the Nigerian prince
I have an honest question for anyone that plays this game. Is it fun?
