Phil Spencer, Todd Howard, Pete Hines and Major Nelson discuss the recent news of Bethesda joining Xbox and tell a few stories of working together.
What a great talk. Love Todd’s humor!
it really was a great interview. Cool stuff
All I know is, Todd Howard's a rich man now, he doesn't have to work for the rest of his life now. Honestly, Skyrim was the last and ONLY Bathesda game I've ever played. Bethesda also doesn't own companies like Tangoworks and all that, so developers under that umbrella can always leave. But Skyrims the only game of there's I've ever played. To the average gamer, this may not matter, they still may have enough of a grudge with Microsoft that they still don't care. Look at where Rare is now compared to when they were owned by Nintendo. And as soon as they acuired Forza Horizon developer, Microsoft TOLD them, you're developing Fable now..... Uh, so when do we get to develop what we want. Microsoft has a history will taking over and causing issues, this may be no different.
"And as soon as they acuired Forza Horizon developer, Microsoft TOLD them, you're developing Fable now..... Uh, so when do we get to develop what we want" Or were they given a choice of Fable or Forza and chose Fable?
Tangoworks is owned by zenimax lol which ms just brought.
