MonsterVine: "I can’t wait to get my hands on the full game."
Alien Hominid Invasion is animated, anarchic and full of attitude. Sure it’s tough, but more importantly it’s an absolute blast.
The Behemoth has returned with an interesting yet enjoyable multiplayer romp.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "There are elements in which Alien Hominid Invasion feels like an improvement over its predecessor, whilst it feels like a step back in a few others. It is vastly more accessible, being easier to detect and avoid enemy attacks, with slightly improved controls, and its mission-based structure makes it a perfect fit for a portable like the Switch. On the other hand, it is a lot more repetitive, and its level design doesn’t feel as inspired as the sheer lunacy featured in the original Alien Hominid. If you have access to a Switch, look no further, this one is tons of fun in short bursts."
I loved playing the OG Alien Hominid at school on Newgrounds back in the day. I'm sure it came to PS2 at some point and that I got that as a filler present for Christmas. Fun, daft game.
