Sure it's annoying, but why must they review bomb? it's so immature.

Viking_mo1099d ago

Gamers are usually immature. Im pretty sure theres a MOD to play as virgil on the original

Furesis1099d ago

vergil is coming to PC. it's just the new mode and the fast mode are not at this moment. I can bet my left nut that they will come eventually.
we've gone through this same dance before with other games. how do people forget the past so fast?

lonewolf101099d ago

Indeed, they should start a petition not review bomb the old game, just silly.

Rachel_Alucard1099d ago

It's the only way to get them to notice. When you start hitting their revenue source.

Yup put out a special edition on PS5 rather then just upgrade it and give it to current owners thru Next Gen Upgrade or Smart Delivery.

Capcom has made a few really good games this gen. Monster Hunter, DMC5, and RE2 Remake.... But they also are not doing themselves any favors with a bunch of poor ports of RE, Deadrising, and Dragon's Dogma to the current gen and charging gamers an arm and leg for them.

That's an example why the XS is a bad idea. This can never be released on the XsX - 1080p@60fps with full RT enabled. Ya, show me how this works on a 4TF gpu - no matter how fast the CPU is. Not saying that is a "next gen title" just a port without much of optimization I would say. But how would a developer tackle that if they'd be forced to release on the big box and a low level entry model? Nobody forces them to make a PS4 version. So either that get way scaled down or games like that will not release on the X-Series. No X-X exclusives, no?

Never played it. $40 still seems steep for a remake - and I think it was free at some point. Might as well give this a go if this is a RT showcase.

Yeah. I can see Devil going darker. That's where the comic relief of Dante would equal out the mood.

Would also be awesome is if Capcom added a VR mode and playing Sairento style. Sairento VR showed you can do many popular action games like Devil May Cry in VR. Just look at the list:

Front flips
Back flips
Side flips
Bladed weapons
Throwing weapons
Hand guns
Hand attacks
Running along a wall
Jumping off a wall to attack
Slow mo

Everything but the feet. That's Sairento. DMC VR or a mode would be amazing.

Neros and Nico had a great comedic chemestry, laughed my arse off haha.

i want both to return.

I could see the twins exploring their past and flashback sequences playing as young Vergil running alone from demons being more horror oriented. I also understand that would not be in line with dmc's gameplay so maybe leaving that to DLC (lol capcom doing a new story content as DLC on a dmc game) would be the better option
