PS5 Pre-Orders Open at UK Retailer GAME; Bundles Range from £359 - £699

If you want to pre-order a PS5 and guarantee yourself a console this side of Christmas, you can pre-order one now via UK retailer GAME. The UK retailer currently has 16 various PS5 pre-order bundles.

Remember how they said they wouldn’t just drop the preorder on us as a surprise? Than playstation’s twitter says preorders “start as early as tomorrow”? K, a little short notice but at least a notice...than bam 4 hours later preorders start and yes madness did indeed begin. I had to get one of the GameStop bundles cause best buys website was jacked and could get anything to go, kept getting server error, than GameStop was already sold out of the consoles stand alone.....

Sony can't really control what other businesses do though. Gamestop Walmart, amazon, symths and so on. Ultimately decide when they want to take orders.

i just pre-ordered 2, had to pay an extra £12 per console to get it to release day tho :/ you also have to pay in full now and not a deposit

No idea which to get at launch. Ps5 has nothing I want in the launch window (was hoping for gt7 and horizon) but series x will play all back compatvstuff and probably shove a few more pixels at cod and other multiplats. Been exclusively ps4 pro since it launched so have a library that I'm not even sure is gonna work without waiting for sony releasing patches

Failing that they will likely get more allocation between now and then Sony likely ramp that production up plus there’s normally always a few for midnight launches and stock that people didn’t pay for/collect/cancellations. Hard to imagine many but yeah GAME sold out? Currently in just Over 2 hours

$499 is £385 not £450, thats at least a £70 difference, we are being ripped off big time, and now they want £70 at release apose to £40 - £50 for game? Also it only has a 800GB Storage, granted its fast, but if you want to upgrade it to the same speed spec at 2TB , you are looking at £300 onwards.Then their is a extra controller ,Playstion Plus , Playstation Now and VR, and then they will drop the PS5 Pro. The Overall price is way into PC territory.
