They find some single stupid game that has a big discount and aay "up to 75% off".
Sadly, it looks like n4g staff just don't care. I hope i'm wrong, but this is not the first time this issue was brought up.
I mean, previously, we had a "Newsboiler" section (or something like that; news from other similar websites) and this website - dailyvideogame.com - turned it into one big «Amazon discounts X on Y up to Z%». "X" is movies, anime, comic books, whatever, "Y" - specific category (sometimes it was missing; like comedy, action movies, etc.) and "Z" is the regular higher discount from one or two goods included. Now it's turned off, but at some point, it was filled to the brim with such "Amazon news". You can visit those websites right now and see for yourself (it's animeshinbun . com and filmwatch . com)
And if you look up author's profile, 15 out of the latest 27 submissions is about Amazon. On next page, it's 23 out of 27. This is ridiculous. And they have a disclaimer: «as an Amazon associate daily video game earns from qualifying purchases». This is a referral spam.
And, as a member, i can't even make a blog post about this or something, so admins/mods would see this.
You're not the first to bring up these kind of issues, N4G ignores them, while flagging legit news because of small arbitrary reasons. This site is ridiculously inconsistent with its own rules.
BF 2042 nearly half price a week after its release. Same thing happened with BFV. Anyone who buys the next one at MSRP is a fool.
