As sad as it sound, but the only way to keep any new game relevant for this new gamers-gen is by releasing tons of skins and Season Pass every month and so like Fortnite.

oddly fortnite was boring in the beginning, but there was a skill ceiling and wasn't just random pushing and falling. I play it from time to time with my wife because of the splitscreen and they do pretty good on their updates, but fallguys is a game where you can't get better and have little influence on what actually happens.
