With the fantastic and free offer of Fall Guys to all the PS Plus subscribers, Fall Guys has managed to become the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time.

Well it was 'free' in a sense. (Since you need ps plus in order to redeem/keep playing it)

I'm guessing you didn't read the title. Most downloaded PS Plus game. That's a big feat seeing all those other games that were on ps plus were essentially free too...

But you missed the point as well. Nobody knew about this game until it was announced to be on +. This is a NEW game given away for free. Previous + games had already had their shot at selling and were then made free. So... yeah. The fact it was a NEW game being given away makes sense for it to be a big hit with the + members.

I did read it, and I already stated that it is popular. That kinda implies that it did better than all other games (on offer on ps plus).

@darth, not really. I didn't miss no point as someone who's had plus from day 1. This isn't the first time it has happened, This is one of those rare cases though where the game blew up THAT much.

You really aren't aware Rocket league did the same? It beat a game as big as rocket league was plus more.

I call bs because that comment doesn't indicate you understood what you read. It gives reason to believe otherwise. You said the comment about well it's free which indicates you don't understand. That has absolutely no relevance to the conversation seeing every PLUS title is given as free games like it. It's no more free than any other game. Acknowledging a game is popular isn't the same thing as understanding free in the context of every game it's being compared to. "Well it's free" contradicts your proof of understanding

That's a massive misreading of the past year of hype (mostly revolving around the PC version), but otherwise, yeah, the fact that this wasn't just on + but was brand new was definitely significant.

I usually don't play games like this either, but it's actually not that bad. It's fun to play with friends. Plus I love Devolver Digital and the games they publish.

I have some DD games they do make & publish some good indie games but after watching some gameplay videos the game Fall Guys just doesn't click with me & it just doesn't capture my interest to want to play. Folks that enjoy playing FG good for them,not everyone has the interest to play games that others do. To each their own.
