04 & 05 were the pinnacle for sure. I had so many sessions with people who hadn't played it before and within ten minutes they were up to speed. EA really nailed the accessibility during that era

I think SO many people don't bother because obviously they don't like golf, but should give it a go regardless. I'm not a fan of golf at all, but golf games are a ton of fun!
