What’s being served up with Tennis World Tour 2 on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC | TheXboxHub

Neil writes: "The Tennis World Tour series is back, with a fresh new team behind it and the power of NACON and Big Ant Studios helping push development along. We recently had the opportunity to sit in to one of those new fangled virtual press presentations that have taken over the world in recent months, and on the face of it, Tennis World Tour 2 looks set to deliver an altogether more accomplished experience than its predecessor."

Wish sega would release another virtua tennis

darthv721001d ago

I liked PvZ (the first game) and Ive never played any of the 3rd person garden games. Im really surprised EA has not made a sequel to the original.

camel_toad1001d ago

I didn't like the 3rd person ones but then again they are totally different games. There actually was a PvZ2 but imo they butchered the formula making it a f2p game. I still to this day go back to the first game every once in a while.

A 3rd one is also in development.

darthv721001d ago

wow, thank you for telling me about the f2p game. i see it on their site now. i play the original on ds and 360 but I can try 2 on my phone. Thanks again.

edeprez1000d ago

There is a sequel... it's a mobile game, up to its frickin eyes in MT. I prefer your POV, where's the real, decent, sequel to PvZ EA? SERIOUSLY, don't waste your data downloading pvz2.

Relientk771001d ago

*Sigh*

Was really hoping those leaks were wrong.

TGGJustin1001d ago

The leak came from PlayStation.com. It had no chance of being wrong. It didn't come from some random site

darthv721001d ago

hey justin, do you still do the comparison articles for these services each month?

SullysCigar1001d ago

A rare miss from Sony this month, I'm thinking. Though I haven't played these games, I've no desire to bother either.

TGGJustin1001d ago

@darthv72 No we don't. We stopped those years ago. I personally never liked them

Palitera1001d ago

PS+ Microtransaction Festival confirmed.

FinalFantasyFanatic1000d ago

I guess the August games are just a bad month for PS Plus users this year, I was hopping the leak was wrong too.

I think this is a bad month from Sony.

phoenixwing1001d ago

I haven't played a tennis game since the ones on the dreamcast

jukins1001d ago

Same but this is more a realistic tennis game. I could definetly go for more virtua tennis

phoenixwing1001d ago (Edited 1001d ago )

Yeah I like arcady sports games more. Like nfl blitz back in the day. Nothing tops playing nba jam on genesis for nostolgia

Terry_B1000d ago

the later virtua tennis games on ps3..and xbox? were good

Duke191001d ago (Edited 1001d ago )

No need to sugarcoat here - thats just a bad month for free games. Oh well, onto September

ChasterMies1001d ago

They are not free games. You pay up to $10 a month for PS+.

Duke191000d ago (Edited 1000d ago )

I bought into PS+ before I even knew the free games was a thing. So its a nice added plus to a subscription model (I was already more than fine paying just for online play and access to discounts) when there are games worth playing on there I don't have to otherwise buy on the store.

It was just faster to type "free"

Kryptix11000d ago (Edited 1000d ago )

Logic isn't allowed here.

Humble Bundle Choice gives you store discounts and 5% goes to charity, but it doesn't make the games free or the discounts are free. lol

The Champions Pack adds Andy Murray, Maria Sharapova and more into Tennis World Tour 2

Neil writes: "If you're on the lookout for a decent tennis game, chances are you're going to be a little disappointed, for aside from AO International Tennis from back in 2018, there have been few highlights on the scene. But one of the most recent options is that of Tennis World Tour 2, and it is that which has now received a bit of an enhancement thanks to the arrival of Andy Murray, Maria Sharapova and more in the Champions Pack. Kinda."
