From GameWatcher: "After more than 8 years spent in Steam Early Access, Factorio's 1.0 Update is finally live alongside its complete patch notes.
The Factorio patch notes 1.0 reveal the addition of both the Spidertron and the Spidertron remote in the game's full version."
Critically-acclaimed base-building hit Factorio is an odd duck. Since its 2016 Steam release, the game has never gone on sale. And now, the developer behind Factorio is changing the price of its popular game, but it ain’t getting a discount. Instead, the price is jumping up $5 next week. The devs blamed inflation for the sudden price increase, and interestingly enough, the general reaction from the community has been mostly positive.
WTMG's Oliver Shellding: "People who are deeply in love/hate with Factorio should have already made up their minds, but if you haven’t, get it. It takes a bit to get used to the interface, but it does become second nature and makes sense after a short period of time. For newcomers, really consider what the game is and what you want it to be. If you sincerely want a full fledged experience, Factorio on the Switch will get you 80% of the way there, but I can’t conceivably think that chat or keyboards can be put in the Switch version. Still, it’s got everything important, and that should be more than enough to keep the cycle going. The machines must grow, and you shall be their farmer."
Factorio is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2022!
