The crowdfunding campaign for Rabbit & Bear Studios’ JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is ongoing, and new information has been revealed.
TSA writes: What could have been the best strength of Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes is its greatest weakness. With the amount of things to do, types of gameplay available, and sheer number of heroes to recruit, the game feels unfocused and inconsistent.
Too much stuff!! 6/10
Ubisoft open world game filled with a million collectibles 9/10
The hell!? This is maybe one of the best love letters to the golden age of JRPGs.
Bash it for it's terrible localisation, sure, but everything else is solid gold, it goes back to the golden days of Suikoden.
Another reviewer who doesn't get who this game is for. Tons of unique characters in a deeply lore rich world but the gaming press wants more microtransactions and online modes full of boring customized skins.
If you were hoping to play Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes in 2023, unfortunately, you'll have to revise that expectation, as the game has been delayed.
There's still lots of games coming in 2023, check out this list of Japanese games to look out for in the second half of the year!
I can't wait for Ys X, I don't think it will be localized this year however. Hopefully Q1 2024.
Anonymous;Code being #1 obviously after 9 years of development. Everyone's been waiting for that!
