Konami has a gaming business?

CobraKai53d ago

Maybe from those Pachinko machines with MGS3?

What I didn't know Konami has games? Beside PES of course and all other ip they refuse to make.

They still bring in cash from Yu-Gi-Oh and PES and other franchises that are easily considered cash cows

Pretty much. Everything else they do is negligible.

300m PES 2020 downloads? I go through my PES trophy list all the time as I play it alot and I have to say the trophy percentages are awful even for the easy ones.
So if 300m downloaded it then only about a few million actually played it?

Those downloads are from the Mobile version -> free

How can they report such strong earnings without hardly any games

TheColbertinator53d ago

Cash cows, Foxtrot. Kinda like how Epic makes 5% of the profit in the gaming industry through one game.

Gaming include Pachinko machines. This is the Japanese way of gambling.

It’s definitely not video games. Must be saying games in a broad sense.
