The game is the most perfect end for Ps4 (i almost start to feel nostalgia for its games)

If the game had corrected some very very minor things could have literally dethroned any Ps4 exclusive and be an all time classic ....some things to correct for example are: some quests and characters (the annoying story of Masako s at the end i really wanted to kill her myself.. what annoying character!)or to buff up the reward of the bit monotonous "uncharted" charm / inari shrines (for example to give new blades) or even better to include Zelda.like completely free climbing everywhere....though these are really very insignificant dents in front of the marvelous environment statisfying gameplayand addictive story they created

For me it HAS dethroned every other PS4 exclusive, including my beloved God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn. And it's one of my favorite games of all time, so it's definitely going to be an all time classic in my eyes.

In addition to the things they mention in the article I also appreciate other things about its design, such as how quick your horse comes to you when you whistle and the fact that objects don't disappear or turn transparent when they pass in front of the camera. I hate when games do that. I like games like Horizon and Red Dead Redemption 2 that don't do that. It makes the world feel much more solid and believable. I'm very glad Ghost of Tsushima took that approach too.

And even though it's one of my favorite games of all time and also one of the very best looking games of all time there are still things I think could be improved with an update for PS5. I would flip out if they did an expansion for Ghost of Tsushima like they did for Infamous Second Son in the form of First Light. If they released this expansion after the PS5 comes out and also improve the visuals it would be amazing. I would like to see things like improved shadow resolution and filtering, higher pixel resolution, and 60fps or an unlocked framerate for variable refresh rate displays. Maybe improve some of the animations and clipping if possible. But I'll take whatever I can get. The game is already a masterpiece in my book.

Yeah agree it is a great game, but not without flaws. I think the biggest thing for me is the lack of physics. To me, physics are just as, if not more important, than graphics. I think this is one of the only ps4 games I remember playing that doesn't have physics implemented. Things like body physics, cloth and material physics, and environmental interaction are completely lacking. I don't remember seeing bodies levitating off cliffs since last gen, but sucker punch still haven't figured this out in their games.
It doesn't kill the game for me or anything, but iy definitely loses points that would have helped make it close to perfect.

I have to admit the loading is pretty decent in this, soon as you fast travel or die, it gets you back in the game.

Only nitpick about it so far is I wish I could move bodies around to hide them for other enemies,

..or the arrows to stay visble on any hit target (either broken either intact ) and be able to recover them from the dead bodies /target

Dragging bodies should always be an option in a stealth game. It's one of my peeves.

I would also love to be able to use the grappling hook anywhere not just on certain locations but I understand this could impact the game design and progression. Tenchu did it and it made you feel so free

Yeah a lot of stealth games do it and I don’t understand why they left it out. I want to hide in the tall grass or around a corner then drag them in. However Jinn will assassinate them standing up so others will see. Then bodies being left around alerts everyone.

I hope embracing these Ghost he’ll learn more stealth for the next game.

I agree about the rope we should be able to use it anywhere especially jumping off cliffs or something

Sure but Ghost isn't an actual stealth game. It's an action game with some stealth elements here and there.

It's a stealth game if you play it as a stealth game. Farcry is a stealth game to me.

Before I read the article I always thought the loading speeds should be commended. Compare the fast travel of this to horizon zd and its very noticeable.

Compare it to AC:O their fast travel is the worst...anywhere from 45/60 secs to 2 mins.

I agree with everything especially the last point about loading time.

My only gripe is I wish the map was in 3D so that I can see my way around mountain ranges.

it's topographic. Lighter areas are higher up.

It was made that way, so it resembles canvas drawings. It has to do with the art direction of the game.
