Neocrisis: 6 new screens from famitsu.
Wow, that looks hideous. Looks like a ps2 game..
I dont know about you two above me, but I may wanna try it out.
I would try it out as well, But I can see this this game becoming a turd from a 1000 miles away. DO NOT HYPE THIS GAME. Its coming from an incompetent Developer (FROM SOFTWARE) who have made a handful of mediocre games in the past 1 1/2 years. You dont even need Siligon to tell you that.
I like the look of the game actually... has a very nice fantasy look. But from what I remember of the gameplay vid, I don't have very high hopes for the game. If it averages around 7's when it comes out I'd still check it out though.
Those may just be a batch of bad screens. If you read the TGS reports on this game they said it looks good, but the problem is that the game feels dated, and the framerate is very poor. It does look like a Japanese poor man's Oblivion, but if they can make the gameplay interesting then they can garner up some sells.
The graphics looks better than Oblivion. The only problem I have is with the art direction. The world's too dark and dirty. Hopefully they have more colorful and beautiful places like Oblivion, to show off the variety.
Its looking like oblivion though not as bright colors. I don't mind it that dragon is impressive. Need to see it in motion.
This is going to be out in late 2009 ( without delays ).
That is a whole long 4 months.
well i hope this game turn out great ...i will love too see another gameplay for this game
crap. No offence.
Very skeptical of this one...
looks interesting. the appeal? looks like a Japanese version of Oblivion. nothing wrong with that.
if this game is like oblivion but in third person view then i'm sold. From Software made a couple of Armored Core games (i'm not sure if all of them) and this game is very heavy in the customization department so, i expect Demon's Soul to have some of this. Like customizations of weapons, armors etc...
you all forgot about how the WII is selling in japan.. people there aren't as big as graphics whore here in the US..
In terms of graphics, the character models are passable, the glaring problems are the wall and floor textures which seem horrendous and to be quite frank, made by a past gen creation tool. The game needs some work and hopefully they end up doing well. Remember this is an open world game, the graphics are toned down (hopefully they are going to touch those up next.) or you can have oblivion graphics (bloom) with a billion loading screens. FIGHTING SYSTEM The last video seemed to be emphasizing the fighting in the game, hopefully they've mastered the fighting system to the point that it is awesome WORD TO THE WISE The developer company as said by others is mediocore and hopefully they do well and this game raises them to be known as a great developer but i wouldn't be too optimistic about this game.
I'm not expecting much from this game mainly because it's developed by From Software... I can't even think of the last time they've made a good game. However, I think that the screenshots of this game are pretty good, but nothing amazing. The screenshots were pretty small, so I couldn't get a good indication of how good the game really looked or not. And don't forget, From Software are the same developers behind Ninja Blade for the Xbox 360. It's going to be interesting to see which game actually does better.
Well SCEJ is helping them too. so we'll see how well they work together.
These can't be new. The in-game screenshots we saw like a month ago looked so much better than this...
so what if its an exclusive, I'm a sony gamer but this game just doesn't look appealing. can't praise every exlusive that comes out... thats just total arrogance
Both PS3 RPG's looks totally dated and horrid in gameplay, why on earth does the most powerfull system has the worst looking and playing RPG's in 2009 ???
I think you guys are hating on the graphics a bit too much. Sure, it doesn't look like most current PS3 titles, but its not that bad. The main character looks nicely made, no jaggies nothing, very smooth. And considering the developer it aint bad since you fight Shadow of the Colossus type creatures as well apparently - that probably took a lot of their system, any top developer could get around that hurdle. I'm just concerned about the gameplay... thats the important part to the game and hopefully its at least playabble then i might give this a go.
It's not the so-so graphics, it's the fact that what we've seen of the gameplay so far doesn't look that alluring. My prediction: it will be a niche game. Some people will like it, but the huge majority won't care at all. In other words, Sony's Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom.
The game looks great. It's an open world RPG? So, the genre isn't one for Crysis type graphics, is it?! I'm not understanding the negativity on this title. Why are people mindlessly hating on... oh, it's a PS3 exclusive? ... I see now.
