Josh writes: In a nutshell, Paper Mario: The Origami King utilizes a circular grid that you strategically rotate to hit as many enemies as possible. Depending on what enemies are on the grid, you will rotate the individual rings so that Mario jump down a perfect line of goombas, inflicting damage to each one along the way. Of course, the enemies may not be in a perfect line, but if you can get them close together in a block, you can swing your hammer to damage a group of turtles. Most encounters can be short once you have a grasp of what you are doing, but I found that after a while I was missing the old days of typical turn-based combat.
