LOL! This guy is nuts!

“I want to go on the record and say I feel like most downloadable games are under-priced. As a collector, I can relate to people who enjoy buying a game and having the game box, and manual. However, paying only 800 points (only ten US dollars) for a game as nice as ‘Bionic Commando: Rearmed’ or 1200 points ($15US) for a game as big as ‘Castle Crashers’ seems ridiculous to me.”

No way man, they are overpriced if anything. His game would probably bomb if it wasn't 400 points. MS is doing the guy a favor.

Don't start this BS dev. I don't want crappy titles and most I either owned or played before and if it's not retail worthy then why would I pay more for it. The only dev that can talk is Capcom the best dev in the business quality in every sector this gen.

The guy is a LOON! Why would I pay that much for a game that doesn't come close to development costs of a full game and looks like something that should be a flash game offered on TwoCows?

Some games might look nice and have some excellent game play but even those do not come close to costing enough to make to warrent the price.

Demand is going to always keep the prices at a lower level. I just don't see the masses swarming to the downloads for the prices that some devs think their work deserves.

MOST of the arcade games are over priced by about 400pts. A few are worthy of their price tag. The vast majority are not...and his craptastic looking game isn't worth 400pts either. He has a right to think its worth more all he wants...thank God MS actually blocked him from chargning more. For once MS does the right thing when it comes to pricing on Marketplace!

The prices are okay as it is now. As good a game as Braid is, I wouldnt wanna pay anymore than 15bucks for it. This is just a strategy on MS' part to make Halo Recon a full priced $60 game.

What does this have to do with Halo Recon?

EDIT: His game Weapon of choice, is priced at 400MP, he wanted to charge more for it but Microsoft refused. http://www.n4g.com/xbox360/...

M$ is brought into this because gimped games like the New Lara croft that 1up reported ends abruptly and is getting DLC to get more money. I hope noone got the Bioshock DLC either this has to stop include it or screw you. Bethesda deserves our support because Shivering Iles is the only DLC worth the cash the rest can go to hell. Kudos to Criterion for fixing their game as well and its so fun too.

Most insiders beleive the Halo 3: Recon will run around $40.00US

"(We)do not view this as a $60 title, and not in a bad way,"..."It's a great value pack thing that we want to do. We're going to make it worth a lot- we just don't want to charge a lot for it."

- Joseph Staten- Creative Director- Bungie

If he made a game that's seem like it's worth $20+ he might be right.

It's like Warhawk. I doubt it's worth that much if it's a 2d sprite game though.
