A Sony patent went public a few days ago that showcases the ability to share gameplay with other users, and if the users have access to that game they can play that segment themselves.
Cool concept. New Message: "Hey, I just got "X" time on "X" track in GT7 using "X" car. Think you can beat my time? Click yes to try." *Uber Fast HDD nearly-instantly loads car and track.*
Yea, Sony has had a lot of these screen and game sharing ect patents recently. It seems like they are doubling down on community features for next gen. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about the share and create features.
It would be cool if you could have your own challenge wall and your friend could just look at it and try to beat your scores
This sound interesting, I wonder if the progess you make in that moment gets saved to your own progress.
I've seen something similar in a Nintendo game before..can't remember which one though.
They could expand it with cloud, so anyone can play the shared segment
