10 discs dual layered wouldnt even be enough to cover dual layered BluRay discs. MW is way bigger than that lol.

If you have a data cap small enough for that to be an issue, you're probably better off not going digital on anything

We would use disks but we just get a download code in the box that pisses me off plus if i download two or 3 games i hit my bandwith cap. I use to play old unreal tournament and medal of honor those were 4 and 6 disk games and if you get the dlc packs its even more disks. Plus websites download speeds are so slow like origin the disk would be faster.

It's just being released physical in the EU AFAIK. That's actually typical, but I don't know if there are reasons other than internet infrastructure and there actually being a market for them still.

No the metal of honor and first battlefield game came out with these huge 10 and 8 disk game packs you could buy at walmart that had all the expansions it was crazy large i use to own it. Hell tiger woods golf would come on 4 disks on pc lol .

I believe most PC users only use a DVD drive because a Blu Ray drive isn't really needed but some like myself don't have neither though because I'm all digital, plus a lot of PC cases dont even have bays for a drive to make the cases look cleaner.

I would guess that it's because by the time Blu Ray started getting popular, PC had already started moving to digital only.

Because it is cheapest format and statistics publishers use tells it is the most extended format used on PC. But... maybe they should change statistics sources or convince themselves that physical format can be a box with merchandising... with a code printed. USB could be the perfect support, but it is more expensive than DVD discs, for the moment.

Hey Microsoft you know we are in 2020 right? And we have something called blu ray discs they can hold 50GB. This is not 10 years ago. Get up to speed and cut off old tech. dumb asses. Why would anyone still have a DVD drive when a blu ray drive is the way to go for physical media. They are not expensive. I'm using an LG that can burn quad layer blu ray dics. The way I see it, you can torrent the game once it comes out, burn it on a few blu rays and split the files.
