The PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will launch via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 7 for $49.99, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games announced.
I the hope this game gets a patch to take advantage of the PS5 hardware.
The better question will it be free update or a full price "remastered"?
99% sure it will be free upgrade.
Sony confirmed over 100 PS4 games will be patched for PS5. Nice troll attempt though.
It’s crazy to think PC players will be enjoying a better version of Horizon than PS4 owners. Why hasn’t Sony shown a PS5 version? Come on Sony!
I am tempted to buy the Pc version. However, I think ill wait a month and see what happens. They want people to buy the PC version. Then announce a PS5 patch a month or so after the PC release.
Lol. Getting hyped for a 5 year old game ? Every multiplat game performs better and will perform better on pc.
I'm confident there will. there will also be a patch for Bloodborne.
That I doubt. They didn't give it a pro patch. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it will happen.
Bloodborne I don't count on happening lol. If it does, I'd be amazed.
Pc gamers are gonna be in for a delicious visual treat considering how gorgeous the game already looks on the pro. If they patch this game on the ps5 running in 4k/60fps. Total eyegasm!
Hopefully 4K 60 . Been waiting to play this . Is the new one coming to pc ?
Not for now.
It will launch for PS5 in 2021(hopefully) so I'd say maybe in 2023. There's been no PC announcement though.
There would be no point in briningin Horizon 2 to PC, as the main reason the first is even on PC is to convert PC users over to PS5 to play the new one. If Horizon 2 ever landed on PC, it would be after almost everyone who wanted to play it already had and when sales were almost nothing so maybe 3-4yrs down the line if ever.
That sounds more like wishful thinking than facts. Sony is no doubt testing the waters with pc. It’s possible more PlayStation exclusives will make its way to the pc
@roland82 that in itself sounds like wishful thinking. More PS exclusives may come to PC yes, but never on Day 1 but only after sales have completely dried up. PS exclusives on PC is nothing more than testing conversion rates over to PS. Not to mention how porting a PS5 exclusive over to any other platform would present technical hurdles due to having an inferior SSD than the custom PS5 one. It was already confirmed that the custom SSD in PS5 is YEARS ahead of anything PC is capable of.

PS5 SSD was already beat on PC. - Samsung 980 Pro SSD - supports speeds of up to 6.5GB/s. - - - - "980 Pro SSD, which will support speeds of up to 6.5GB/s. The storage upgrade will be available at some point this summer, before the PS5 hits stores." https://bgr.com/2020/06/19/... https://twitter.com/harukaz... by the time next gen games are released it will already be considered "off the shelf hardware" on pc.
@Tech5 6.5GB/sec is very much inferior. PS5 SSD supports up to 9GB/sec. Try again. This won't be topped for years.
4k60fps?? 4k is so main stream. i prefer 2k 100fps+ that 60fps 4k.
Guess this is is more-less what we could expect to get from that free PS5 patch.
As long as it runs at 120 fps on max settings. From what I gathered PC gamers won't except less.
Nah! 4K, ultra at 60fps is what i'm looking for. If death stranding is anything to go by then it should be easy.
i prefer 2k 120fps+ that 4k 60fps. 4k is a ilusion main stream and power hungry for pc high end. on consoles ps5 xbox x you dont see a big diference on visual because the 4k push the power on half on consoles
Most pc gamers are happy with 1440p 60fps, that is considered the sweet spot.
PC gamers get to choose. If I want 4k/60 then I adjust for that. If I want 120fps at a lower resolution then I adjust for that. All about the choices I make and not what I'm being dictated to choose from.
I was kidding. I like gaming on PCs too, but I only have an old ass GTX 750ti.
This'll probably look fantastic on highest settings, enjoy PC gamers. Hoping it gets a proper PS5 port/remaster/BC upgrade too!
Have it on my ps4, but I'm gonna have to rebuy it for PC. Hope my 1080Ti cn run this on max settings 1440p.
Ultrawide support please!
I have a PS4 but i've Been putting off playing HZD since the PC version was announced and have managed to stay away from any spoilers so far. Can't bloody wait, 2080ti / 9900K + LG 4K OLED TV + 5.1 Surround Sound + DS4 = gaming nirvana.... hopefully.
Damn, nice setup.
Well damn, guess I gotta buy it again for my PC.
Don't support this one but but I hope pc players enjoy it. Mabey they will see the quality of games on playstation is so high
Most if not all veteran pc gamers know these variables very well and many have a console or two next to their PCs.
I already know Sony makes some amazing exclusives. That's why I've owned every PlayStation along with a gaming PC and I plan to get the PS5 too. Mentioning that brings back memories. I had such an incredible time playing Tenchu Stealth Assassin's and Tenchu 2 Birth of the Stealth Assassin's back on the original PlayStation. And now Ghost of Tsushima is about to come out, which looks almost like a spiritual successor to Tenchu but set in an open world and with deeper mechanics all around. I simply can't wait. It feels like I've almost come full circle.
Death Stranding is getting DLSS 2.0 running on Decima, I'll be very surprised if this game doesn't get it...
Awesome! I cant wait to play this again and on PC this time with ultrawide <3.
the way it's meant to be played.
Enjoy it ! It's a great game and the sequel is coming shortly.
Finally high frame rates.
