Arena shooters have been around since the early 90’s and we’ve seen the genre grow and evolve from the classics like Quake to more modern and beloved franchises like Splatoon.
There is fun to be had with The Otterman Empire but don't expect the same staying power as the early 2000s platformers that inspired it.
