my questions are how best to place your cliff diving kills without missing, and how do go dive onto your back in a slide ??? All i can do is a dodge and she faceplants. I cant figure out the max payne-ish backwardz dive

Yeah I struggled with these too! With the vertical takedowns, range is key. So long as there's a clear line of sight to the target, no objects blocking that route (as in an open floor), and you're running when you jump, you should do the cliff dive kill.

As for the backwards dive, point the control stick backwards without turning the camera, hold run, and then press and hold Circle (which is crouch / go prone by default). That should do it!
