The story is too old to be commented.

I didn't get the "side quest" feel at any part of this game. It all felt deliberate to me. I would like to know more about the Seraphites too, but I don't really get how they were underused. The game would be pushing 80 hours, if they really fleshed out the WLF-Seraphite conflict and then the game would have actually lost focus (for real). A disagreement or dissatisfaction with a story and a loss of focus are two different things that may or may not happen regardless of style choice.
As it stands, right now, the story is pretty solid, other than the post-apoc "cloth shortage", when standing in a room filled with cloth lol xD

This is the most unbiased and objective analysis of the story I've seen so far.
There are some incongruences and I see why some people are pissed by some choices. But calling the story "objectively bad" is questionable at least.

I think the main problem is people's affection to the first game. Which is ok, but it shouldn't influence your opinion to a point where you can't recognize subjectivity and objectivity.

That's a good upload. Thanks for sharing.

All interpretation of anything presented is 'subjective'. It is too easy to call BS on anyone who says the word "objectively" when talking about any creation.
