you actually helped highlight another failure of the game. because it's so contrived we can't believe the characters and only see director Druckerman forcing things through. the illusion was completely broken and it was impossible to go along.

actually Game-ur presented a good key argument paving the way for a constructive discussion but it's easy to miss if you're busy attacking his person like he took away your lollipop.

How does it ruin the first game? I'm just curious.

ambiguity is a major part of the ending of the 1st game. that is gone. somethings in the plot are deliberately left for the observer. it's the same for movies like Blade Runner.

Guy who wrote the review here. TLoU2 isn't a bad game, but it does have weaker writing and dreadful pacing issues.
