Yes, Chris Redfield is back, and there are significant hints that he might not be quite a hero. Leaving aside his darker and more brooding character art featured on the REV website, he also makes an explosive entrance in the reveal trailer by emptying an entire pistol clip into a bloodied woman lying on the ground in front of Ethan, possibly Mia, to Ethan’s anguished cry of “WHY?!”
Resident Evil has always toed the line between action and traditional survival horror, and Resident Evil Village offers a great balance.
RE franchise is my favourite, it’s so awesome. There’s so much variety and many great games. That is why i hope we’ll get at least one more RE with first person perspective. I want that RE7 experienece one more time! The RE9 director is the same one as RE7 so i’m expecting it to be amazing.
I loved the similarities between Village and RE4. I guess the main thing that felt similar is they both seem like sprawling “villages” and the action was well balanced. Both incredible games in VR too.
The top 10 most terrifying moments in Resident Evil history, from Mr. X to the Baby Monster, exploring Capcom's masterful horror design.
The shadows of rose DLC (REvillage) mannequin section is definitely top 10 worthy but is missing...
Resident Evil Villages sales numbers helped the videogame series hit a staggering 157 million sales 28 years after Resident Evil came out.
Lol I doubt iPhone contributed much to that figure, the vast majority would have been PS5 and PC.
Yeah, of course the mobile sites are going to make news out of the couple digit in-the-thousands or so downloads as a major contribution. The original story was that Village hit the 10 million mark across all the platforms, nice for mobile fans to take it up a serious notch like it was due on behalf of mobile.
I'm sorry. I can't take a game seriously when they've called it after a name where they've shoehorned in the roman numerals. Saw it a mile off.
I don't see the point in this game. I'd prefer it to be Switch exclusive and then port later to PS5. Then at least it might be good.
It seems like they’re going a DMC4 route with the story here with Chris coming of as the villain but actually having good intentions similar to Dante in said game.
That being said I hope the ‘His story comes to a close line’ doesn’t mean this is the last time we see Chris.
