Evidently, some folks were having some trouble with connectivity and the select/enter button (No shame in thinking it was cross. I think everyone messed up on that.) Team P86 has since fixed the problems in v1.1. Note the Changelog.

Twisted metal 3 and 4 are unrated, not as good as the first two but still good
the 4 player split screen is awesome, used to play it on my PSX all the time
