I genuinely believe if Microsoft was as committed to creating great new exclusives like they were during the first half of the 360 generation, there would be more interest in their system. Obviously playstations dramatically larger user base will be a massive factor but also remember this was Sony's E3 equivalent event. Microsoft will have alot more watch there July event compared to their last "inside xbox" show.....but obviously still less than Sony's event

XSX reveal have 12 million views in 6 months.
PS5 reveal have 18 million views in 2 days.

They revealed their console at the game awards dude..you cannot try to go bigger then tat bit sony's stand alone event still crushed it....Playstation is far bigger that is not news.

The brand alone would already do that, plus the extended period of no news. It's like Nintendo intentionally short shipping Wiis to drum up interest with false supply/demand. Sony was drawing people in.

I am not surprised personally. MS spoke about the Xbox SX all the way in 2018 or 17, There was no anticipation buildup, they revealed the machine at an award show, done a poor job on their "gameplay reveal" Sony said f- all and then showed the controller which got people talking, their flop was the dev session Mark Cerny and the added fake audience.

What Sony showed mostly comprised of FMV and multiplatform gaming. However, they created anticipation. I am likely to go PS5 at this present moment. It's not all about power if you haven't got the games to back it up.

You are one of those people that believe the tech demo level of graphics is coming to the system on day one or one day 🤣🤣 Even if it was in game engine it wasn’t gameplay for a lot of those games 1st of all, second the non exclusives may not have been running off the ps5.
