Ya know, I think it's amusing that Xbox fans like to talk about PS4 overheating even though there is literally no evidence that PS4 or PS4 Pro has any kind of manufacturing defect. Meanwhile Microsoft released a console that had a lifetime average defect rate of over 25% with early models having over a 45% failure rate. And that doesn't even include the faulty DVD drive that ruined peoples disks.

I think all the TV"s are gone, and all the stores have been burned down. We've got a few more weeks before new stock comes in, so there's a small window of opportunity to have a bit of normalcy in our lives.

I'll actually be off this day, but I was planning on moving furniture around and setting up my home theater properly....and no, I didn't loot a new TV. But if I do that, I'd have to watch the show on my PC, as I doubt I'd be done in time. Such a quandary.

Except there was looting and vandalism, which helped to exacerbate the situation, and take away from the peaceful protests.

I don't attribute the protests as the reasons for the crime that came after all this went down. I think of the criminals who did all that as opportunist, taking whatever came along to justify their actions.

I'm fine with the peaceful protesters doing their thing, and they can continue to do so. But given the extra grief that came because of the vandalism and looting, it made a bad situation worse, which is why it would be nice that it didn't start up again.

The protests will still be going on on Thursday I'm sure. But, if things flare up again, then another round of looting or arson could potentially make it inappropriate again.

There is no excuse for people to loot, vandalize, or commit arson, or worse, because of what happened with the cops. That is just one crime replacing another crime, and if the BLM movement wants to be heard, and make progress, then they can't have this kind of stuff attached to their cause.

Trying to excuse the reasons for the crimes that happened in the so called name of justice is not helping the BLM movement, and only sours the well, as a**holes love anecdotes and false equivalencies to dismiss an entire argument without having to discuss it. Example, any given console war discussion on N4G. Except with this, the arguments being made are worth listening to, and discussed on a grand scale.

@DJStotty They likely have games running 4k|30fps easier to run them at 1080|30fps than to try to compress the video to 1080p|60fps the games will look odd running at 60fps if they are 4k|30fps titles. We will likely get a 4k|30fps video shortly after the livestream. Then individual game videos running 4k|30fps & 4k|60fps. Hope that makes sense. :)

It is like they have done that purposefully, as to not get a backlash when the game itself is actually 30fps, because we will not know unless they state it. And then they follow it with.

Sony have said they won't be releasing a PSVR2 right away because it would overwhelm consumers to have two expensive machines to buy at the same time.
Personally I hope they make PS5 VR games that will run on the existing headset because even though the resolution won't change frame rates and graphics will immensely. Games will look so much better even with your old headset.

Yeah well there's more to good graphics then resolution. Polygon count, lighting, animation, textures.

PSVR games tend to have a simple even PS3 type look. Low geometry, bland textures. They still manage to impress because VR is simply that immersive. Even Tumblr looked good in VR.

Now let's say you make a VR game on PS5 that has the same quality assets as the last of us or God of war. How incredible would that look even on PSVRs 1080p screen.

Not to mention if they can run it all at 120 FPS.
