Why RPG Fans Should be Very Excited About a Kingdoms of Amalur Remaster

Well releasing it right in the middle of Skyrim and Dragons Dogma might have played a part in the lower sales numbers. But out of the 3 KoA was the one I enjoyed the most

Well I think it's really high expectations to sell 2.2 million copies (I think that was the breakeven point), especially when it's a new IP from a brand new studio. I think it had pretty good sales considering everything against it, including the other games you listed. Sadly their goals were just too lofty.

THQ bought the IP from EA within the last year or so. THQ will put out the remaster, which I’m sure will be used to gauge interest in a potential sequel

For fans of ARPGs, if you missed this the 1st time around, you’re gonna want to pick this one up! Always thought of it as a bigger, better, Fable with amazingly good combat. I love seeing this game get another chance.

I never got around to playing it when it was first released. But my gf at the time LOVED it. Always told me I needed to give it a go. The floaty controls threw me off at the time. Since then I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. So I’ll have to give it a go this time.

I don't think I've been more stoked for a remaster than this. I have been asking for it since the beginning of the gen.

I can't freaking wait. Honestly, R. A. Salvatore writing the lore for this had my attention the moment I originally heard about it. And the game is just so well put together.

Great game. Been waiting for this since they bought they rights. It's obviously to see if there's still interest in the IP, so hopefully it sells well.......because I want a sequel so bad!

Good game. I will buy it again for sure . I still have my PS3 Collectors version and the statue it came with . It’s a really high quality statue . Too bad the studio is dead because the baseball player who owned it started the game out as an MMO and lost like 80 mil

Once I heard about it, I looked to try and pre-order the game. Though I’ve never played it before, a friend of mine was telling me how good the game was. Which of course made me want to get the game and try it.
