It is crazy how they push the details in their games every release, cant wait to get my hands on this

TGGJustin1853d ago

Yep It's what really sets their games apart from most others out there.

IRetrouk1853d ago

Can you imagine what they will do with the ps5😳

Tacoboto1853d ago

The first Remastered has high framerate options. Hopeful that instead of a new release, maybe we can get something like that patched in for launch.

InUrFoxHole1852d ago

Imagine what they could do on pc? I guess we'll find out!

IRetrouk1852d ago

Yeah fox, I'm sure if they work on a pc version of any of their games they would look amazing, but I'm a console gamer not a pc gamer so that's kinda irrelevant to me or my comment.

I agree.
It most definitely is. I remember seeing Uncharted: DF for the first time and my reaction was “WOW” this is next gen, when viewing the first cutscene. Than, after the combat (tutorial) on the boat, seeing the next cutscene and the water effects, I was blown away even more. Than to start really getting into the game when going through the jungle with Sully, and seeing Drakes shirt not only get wet, but to see it wrinkle as I walked, just shocked me even more.

Than to see the graphical/generation leap that ND accomplished with Uncharted 2 was just unseen before. The snow effects, it getting into Drakes hair, to just all the other little details.

Uncharted 3 with the cruise ship & Airplane/Sand desert again, more graphically stunning moments from this team.

The Last of Us - The detail in the world/buildings and environments you explore, all felt lived in. And the dialogue that could happen at certain moments randomly at points, just added greater immersion to the gameplay experience. A visual treat to end their journey on PS3.

U4- With the incredible facial animations, attention to detail in the animations and how Drake moves, to the individual chest hairs Drake has (that blow in the wind) lol. To the lighting in the game, the environments (Madagascar) especially being much much bigger, and looking amazing. To Elena resting her arm on the couch and to see the pillow actually react to her pressing up against it.

TLoU Part 2 - The attention to detail, again, not just in the visuals, which are absolutely incredible, but to see how much further ND has pushed the PS4/using their talents to build not only their most ambitious game, but these worlds that will allow the player to explore and see unique scenes/encounters by exploring over here in this area all the way this way. I’m trying to fathom that bit lol. But the animations on display, and the audio in the game after watching the State of Play video just me in disbelief that a studio can push themselves and their talent to great heights with each new game release they bring to fans. Naughty Dog, definitely one of a kind.

I apologize for the length lol.

I can’t imagine what the experience for TLoU Part 2 will deliver, but I’m ready to let it all take me over come June 19th.

IRetrouk1853d ago

Nothing wrong with a long post, atleast you are being coherent and not just rambling lol, I'm just as excited to jump into that world again, as a bonus the wife and kids pre ordered me the pro for fathers day, so extra excited lol

ClayRules20121853d ago

Lol, okay good.

Oh very nice! That’s such a nice father’s day gift! I can see why you’d be extra excited!! You’ll be over the moon, I’m sure once you see the first scene come over your tv screen haha.

IRetrouk1853d ago (Edited 1853d ago )

Yeah, am very fortunate to have such a cool wife and kids, the game should be a blast to play through, loving how much more open the levels look and how dynamic everything seems, 3 weeks seems long but it will fly in no doubt lol.

ClayRules20121853d ago

You definitely do. So happy you have them! God bless you and your wife and kids! My fiancé and son do sit and watch me play games, and enjoy it. But when I get too into them (emotionally) my son leaves the room (from embarrassment) especially when his friends are over, but they find it entertaining lol.

Yeah, the bigger levels, and how dynamic it all seems adds to the excitement. Can’t wait to explore all the environments. 3 weeks... I will be strong haha.

IRetrouk1853d ago

Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it man👍, it's cool you have the family involved in gaming, my wife actually plays more than me nowadays lol my older two also think it's crazy an old man gets so excited by these things, but like I say to them, I gamed before you lot were here and I'll continue till I'm in the ground lol it's my hobby🤷‍♂️

I really do think they pushed the boat out with this game, I bet we havent seen anything yet.
Yes, be strong lol we all have to be😂

LiViNgLeGaCY1853d ago

Thanks for the share man. Had a good laugh as well. Haha.

ClayRules20121853d ago

You’re welcome, bud! Of course👍 Lol, I’m glad your wife enjoys gaming. That’s really cool. And I’m right there with you, it’s a hobby and until I’m in the ground, I’ll keep playing them lol. But when we as a family sit down/ and play these story driven games, they’re just genuinely, unforgettable priceless times that i treasure and they so enjoy them too. So grateful and thankful for them.

And yeah, we’ve no doubt seen anything yet. Let’s all remain strong till the 19th, everyone haha.

IRetrouk1853d ago

That's really cool man, isnt it great that our games have got to the point that they can be enjoyed by the whole family and not just a singular person locked in their room😂

ClayRules20121853d ago

@LivingLegacy

You’re welcome bud. I’m glad you had a good laugh Haha.

How excited are you for TLoU Part 2?

LiViNgLeGaCY1853d ago

Excited enough that I have absolutely NO idea how I'm going to make it through these next 3 weeks! Lol. It sucks too because my son is 7, so I'll have to play this around his schedule, don't really want him seeing all the graphic violence, etc.

ClayRules20121853d ago

😂right. For real tho, gone are those days lol. Yeah, it’s great. Our games can be enjoyed by the whole family, and that in itself, I believe adds much to the experience!

IRetrouk1853d ago

Definitely, I just love the direction our hobby is growing, something for absolutely anyone.

ClayRules20121853d ago

@LivingLegacy

Hahaha, for real. These 2 weeks will be TORTURE! Oh bud, I get that. But I believe you’ll make it work. And when you find time to play, it’ll be a blast. And yeah, I completely understand not wanting him to see the graphic violence and so on.

ClayRules20121853d ago

Exactly! Something for absolutely anyone is the perfect way to put it! Our hobby, so happy to have that too, and see how it’s grown.

This Looks so good. and so adaptive and intense! MUCH more talent and work went into this game than In Ghost of Tsushima, if we were to compare just on a technical and visual level. Just my 2 cents.

Imalwaysright1853d ago

One is an open world game and the other isn't. If we're just looking at a technical level then Horizon still is the most impressive 1st party Sony game. An open world game that can rival linear games in terms of graphical fidelity is no joke.

VerminSC1853d ago

HZD is the most impressive sony game, really? Its a good game but can't hold a candle to GOW and apparently TLOU2. I understand its visually impressive for an open world game but RDR2 a multiplat game blows it out of the water imo. The environmental graphics are very impressive in HZD (naughty dog even admits they set a new bar at the time) but the character models and facial animations are subpar.

Imalwaysright1853d ago

As far as Sony's 1st party games go, yes Horizon is tech wise the most impressive game and it being open world and still be visually impressive to you despite GoW existing is exactly why. Oh and I agree that RDR2 tech wise is easily the most impressive current gen game with it being open world + its level of graphical fidelity + one of the best physics systems in recent years.

xX-oldboy-Xx1853d ago (Edited 1853d ago )

Vermin - Didn't see any 10 storey high dinosaurs in RDR2. Nothing on any platform 'blows it out of the water' - HZD is stunning on every level.

And HZD2 will again set the standard.

TLOU2 will end the gen with a bang and give Sony huge momentum going into next gen. GOT is just the icing on the cake.

Veneno1853d ago

TLOU 2 is easily the best out of the Sony First Party. Way way more detailed than any of the others.

InUrFoxHole1852d ago

Whaaaa?! Even better than Uncharted?

masterfox1853d ago

The thing no one can't deny, that look very impressive.
