A short yet charming pair of old school action platformers in the shape of Gunman Clive HD Collection have arrived on PS4. The Finger Guns Review.
Engage in over-the-top cartoon combat in Gorn, landing Tuesday for PlayStation VR.
Given that many Nintendo fans will have played the two games in their handheld forms previously, it's perhaps unsurprising to learn that the HD Collection hasn't set the world alight in terms of sales - developer Bertil Hörberg has revealed that 9000 copies have been sold to date - but despite that, the title has still turned a profit.
That great!
Though it could had sold more but 3DS made the most money for the dev. Even a lot more than mobile did.
Gunman Clive HD Collection includes both Gunman Clive games. The art style may put some players off, and the game is very short, but the level design is both challenging and fun, with some huge bosses thrown in for good measure.
Love the minimalistic aesthetics. Hard to believe there's much depth to the gameplay, though, looking at it. But I guess looks can be deceiving!
You had me at cake!
I like that there's a variety of playable characters each with their own unique skill set. If I had to choose I'd go with Chieftain Bob!
The art style makes it stand out from the crowd I think, it is something a little different. It looks like a good little game, and a quick one to play as it's only short.
It’s got some charming colouring book visuals and the gameplays simplicity looks very reminiscent of an early NES game. Great review!
