they have more controllers than games.

It’s slowly copied more and more from the dualshock. The general shape, and variable rumble motors. Dual analog sticks. Clickable sticks. Four shoulder buttons. The share button. It’s pretty much a dual shock now with analog sticks in a slightly less optimal orientation and an ms logo.

Are you f*cking kidding me!?! Copy the DS controller? The general shape, hell no! The new PS5 is a carbon copy of the Xbox controller. Dual analog sticks? What controller does not have dual analog sticks!?! Don't let Nintendo come out of your mouth or I know you are nothing but a fanboy! The share button, yeah they copied that , LOL. The DS has transformed into an Xbox controller more and more since the DS3. Why happened to for bumpers, now you have a bumper and a trigger. Xbox never had four bumpers. Leave the fanboy shit in your head where it belongs. They are both great consoles with great features. Like the one you like and leave it at that.

@dlocsta

Asking what controller doesn’t have dual analog doesn’t get you out of copying. Who had them first? The dual shock. Who had them second? Xbox. Changing half the buttons into triggers is not getting you out of copying. They nearly always act as shoulder buttons. First person shooters do not need triggers. They need 4 shoulder buttons though. Whoops. Copying those triggers from the Dreamcast is not helping your bs either. And don’t forget... clickable sticks and variable rumble. The shape is 90% dual shock if you look at controllers that came before the dual shock. I’m not kidding you at all. Just telling it like it is. Xbox’s controller owes its general look and feel to the DualShock.

Well Nintendo was the first to come out with rumble feature. Yes Sony did have the first dual analog sticks and four buttons plus an innovative design. For the most part everything is a evolution off of one another. The biggest contribution Xbox gave was the ergonomics of the controller/custom paint jobs. Atari CX-42 was the first wireless gaming pad for the 2600. Also Nintendo was the first with a built in mic and speaker (Wii). Also they came out with the first camera built in (WII U). I find it all very fascinating.

To me, it evolved into the best controller there is. Particularly, the Elite Series 2. Best controller there is.

Thing is....controllers are extremely subjective. Doesn't matter what I think. Everyone is different.
